Philosophy - We are "called" to counsel according to God’s will. This involves a commitment to the integration of Biblical and psychological principles. As Christian counselors, we are certified professional therapists dedicated to a lifestyle of Christian ministry.

 

They will learn to discern the will of God for their lives and be strengthened by His Spirit.

They will grow in faith and find significance in Christ alone.

Through His grace they will gain physical and spiritual stamina for the trials

and struggles of life.

They will find peace and stability in the midst of trauma and confusion.

 

We offer a wide variety of counseling services in the areas of individual, premarital, marriage, and family counseling. You may benefit from professional counseling if you experience one or more of the following conditions:

abuse (sexual, physical, emotional, neglect); anger and bitterness; anxiety; children/adolescents (adjustment problems, developmental disorders); codependency; communication problems; crises; depression; divorce; eating disorders; grief; low self-esteem; marital/family conflict; obsessive/compulsive behavior; parenting issues; personality disorders; relationship problems; spiritual insecurity; stress

As a professional service, a fee has been established. However, since this service is a ministry to the church and community, the fee may be discounted based on family income.

 

The Bethel Baptist Counseling Ministry readily accepts referrals from local pastors, chaplains, schools, and agencies. With the client's permission, our staff will make every effort to involve a referring individual in the counseling process.
